Step 02
We locate the parcel
The service geocodes the address and matches it to county parcel data where available. We identify the subject property, its county, and its unique parcel identifier.
Step 03
Assemble the report
We pull the public ODNR well log for the parcel, list neighboring wells, summarize published local geology, and note whether oil and gas records exist nearby. Where the public record is silent or incomplete, the report says so. Everything is compiled into a single, readable document.

Review & share
Each report gets a unique reference number and an issued date. You can print or download it as a PDF, copy a shareable link, or keep it for your records.
Where the data comes from
Ohio Well Report is an independent service. We do not collect or generate original well data — we organize and summarize what is already public.

Public well construction and location records maintained by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
County Parcel Data
Property boundaries and identifiers from county auditor GIS systems.
Geological Surveys
Generalized subsurface geology and aquifer context from Ohio geological publications.
Oil & Gas Records
Permitting and production data from Ohio public regulatory filings.
Reports are not water-quality tests, home inspections, or evaluations of a private water system. No one visits the property, no water is sampled, and no lab result is interpreted. Reports compile existing public records and published geological context for informational purposes only.
